My work has been called "playful and stylishly retro".
I worked as a photographer for the Times/News of Hendersonville, N.C. (owned by the New York Times)
from 2006 to 2010. I produced a local music television show in the Asheville N.C. area from 2007 to 2009, as well as co-hosted a radio version from 2009 to 2010. In August of 2012, I moved to China with my wife, author Cathy Adams. We have lived in China and have traveled to several countries since then such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, United Arab Emirates, Rep of Georgia and various European countries.
My credits include: Our State Magazine; Blue Ridge Now; Whitefish Review; and The Spartanburg Harold, in South Carolina among others. My work has appeared at Minerva Gallery in Asheville North Carolina, the artist of the month at the Upstate Artisan Center in Chesnee, South Carolina, and in the Xinzheng City Museum (group show April 2015) - Xinzheng, China.
